Recording nutritional intake metadata
If you are undertaking research in the life sciences or clinical trials space, your study or intervention might affect satiety, mood or weight in your cohort. Whether your study question relates directly to diet or not, collecting nutritional intake can provide important metadata to your study - data that you would have otherwise not collected.
Trialflare's nutritional input data type enables you to collect nutritional intake data from participants either on-the-fly from them, or, from your trials team members. Our database collection allows for searching of over 3 million food and drinks items, either by manual search or by barcode scanning on a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop camera. If any custom items are required, these can also be added, allowing you the flexibility to collet the data that you want.
Collecting nutritional intake data in 3 simple steps
Step 1 : [Trials Admin] Create your nutritional input data type and stage.
Once you have decided on what nutritional parameters you'd like to collect, you can begin collecting data from a participant or patient immediately. Common parameters include carbohydrate, fat, protein, salt, sugar, calories and lots more.
Step 2: [Trials Admin / Healthcare Professional / Participant / Patient] Add the Data.
Step 3: [Trials Admin] Export the Data.
Using our rich variety of integrations, you will be able to work with your data in a variety of ways to get the most out of your study.
