Feature Focus : Multi-Site Trials
Decentralised and Virtual Trials : Multi-Site and on Smartphone
β
Today we're putting our Trialflare Sites feature front and centre. Working in this industry for many years, we know that participants seldom stay in one place, and, to get true representation of humanity in trials, we also need people of all walks of life. What's more, when you're sometimes working with a very tight cohort which is very unique, you might find that sites can't recruit enough of the people you need to a study to sufficiently power your research. These are just some of the reasons why our Sites feature is incredibly useful and can allow many people at many locations to collaborate and work together effectively - whether they are study team members or participants!

Personalised site-specific ePRO
β
When you're running a multi-site study you might need to branch questions and tailor them to participants at particular sites. We never want to unnecessarily burden our participants, so wasting their time with irrelevant questions is a big no. With our Sites feature, you can send specific surveys, forms or questionnaires to participants enrolled at specific sites with ease.
β
Benefits:
- Keep participants engaged with the right questions
- Save participant time
- Sub-grouping data is made easier at study end points
β
The correct comms
β
When you're communicating with participants through Trialflare, whether it's through our secure instant messaging portal or through push notifications and SMS, you will want to make sure that the correct information is being conveyed at all points. Participants lose interest in taking part in a study if mistakes happen. If instructions are not clear, they can lose confidence in you and your study. If you have a designated study team member who is responsible for communicating with participants, you'll want to make their job easier, too, by assigning the correct participant/s to them.
β
Benefits:
- Distribute the correct and necessary information only
- Reduce the burdens to study team members
- Reduce the risk of comms mistakes
β
Multi-language switching
β
Many out-of-the-box questionnaires which have been around for many years (and have the desirable 'research validated' status) will have options for multiple translations. If you want to keep your population diverse and not restrict yourself to a single language or ethnicity, setting specific language questionnaires to the right people can be incredibly helpful
β
Benefits:
- Reach participants you could otherwise not reach in a single study
- Improve diversity and representation in your study
- Make participants feel more welcome and included in your research
